SAA operates domestic routes within South Africa and daily return flights to Livingstone International Airport on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. This is a jet service and can be part of an add on fare with SAA and many other partner airlines. SA Express also fly scheduled flights into various destinations in Zambia out of Johannesburg. Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe is well served with connections to Johannesburg, Harare and Bulawayo. Daily flights from Johannesburg and Harare are operated by South African Airways, British Airways and Air Zimbabwe. While Kwando Safaris can assist you with these regional flights we would again advise you to book through your agent as they often get better fares and can determine all the options on their local computer screens (which we do not have). For
Botswana access is normally from Johannesburg, Gaborone (capital of Botswana),
Victoria Falls or Livingstone and Windhoek (Namibia). Air Botswana operates
daily return flights from Johannesburg to Maun (some via Gaborone depending
on the season) and three return flights weekly to Kasane from Johannesburg.
Seats can be limited in high season (1 July to 31 October) so early booking
is advised.
